Event Summary
OUR 2024 REUNION was unforgettable. Ladians from 3 adjacent states joined forces to plan. They are Elizabeth Owolabi, Janet Ajanaku, Bunmi Kumapayi, and Grace Giwa.
From securing hotel accommodation and planning the menu to deciding on tourist sites, arranging a luxury bus to take us around town, and planning our gala night, these 4 women worked tirelessly, which contributed to the success of the reunion. The second is sightseeing as usual, and this time we visited the HOUSTON SPACE CENTER. The night is our Gala night, and Ladians came out in their finest.
It was more fun because we were in larger numbers. We ended on Sunday with a powerful service and prayer for the whole Ologafe Family. At this meeting, MN was selected as the host for Reunion in 2024. We secured an IHG hotel by the Mall of America. Friday was arrival day, shopping, a meet-and-greet, and dinner. As usual, on Saturday, we toured the Twin Cities. Minnehaha Falls was our First stop. We enjoyed the beauty of Nature.
We then visited the WALKER ART INSTITUTE. We rounded out the day with a boat ride on Lake Minnetonka. The night was always our climax. The coordinator and Treasurer gave their reports. Ladians came in their gilts and glamour. It was beautiful. As per OLGHS custom, we met for Church service and prayer and departed at Midday on Sunday.
